Simon joined the Labour Party in 2015 in order to help with the General Election and has always supported the Labour Party as a trade union activist. Simon has been involved in local government for about 15 years as a parish councillor in Upper Beeding and taking an active role in local affairs has enabled him to help to develop and improve his local community.

Linda is a lifelong Labour supporter and has been an active member of the Labour Party for over 20 years. She is a retired teacher and lecturer who grew up in Brighton and now lives in Hassocks.

Kay is a retired primary school teacher, working as a deputy head in a mainstream school and for a few years with children who had speech and language difficulties. She is therefore passionate about education and believes that funding should be fairer. Always a Labour party supporter, she rejoined the party after the 2015 elections.
